Even though we are talking about measuring and selling, the format for uniforms is slightly different from other apparel. There are three main differences.

The first point is that it is necessary to wear it for a long time.

As you all probably know, uniforms cost quite a bit. It's not that expensive when you consider the fact that you can wear it for a long time and the cost of buying your own clothes, but you need a large amount of money when you enroll. Therefore, we will decide on the size and items to purchase through repeated conversations so that you can purchase with confidence by suggesting a size that you can wear for a long time and that is not too big in the long run.

The second point is that "it doesn't mean that we can sell any size."

Although the trend of students dressing casually has decreased in recent years, it has not yet disappeared completely, with some students requesting shorter skirt lengths. It is necessary for salespeople to use the information about school rules that they obtain from conversations with teachers in advance correctly when selling in order to avoid problems for students after they enroll.

The third point is that it is not a limited edition.

As children grow, maintenance such as shortening the hem and length of their clothes is required. When they reach second or third grade, they often come back to the store for the above maintenance. If additional purchases are included, we will have a relationship with our customers for at least three years. Some customers stay with us for a total of 12 years, through elementary, middle, and high school, so it is important to build long-term relationships.

As you can see from the above, it is broadly classified as apparel, but there are many special circumstances that are unique to school uniforms. We will teach you about them from scratch during the training.

Suzuki Gakuseifuku handles many products, including school uniforms, gym clothes, shoes, bags, swimsuits, and more. In addition, the models are often different for each school, so there is a fair amount of product numbers. It is a so-called high-mix, small-lot business. In other words, there is a huge amount of information.

In the future, we will continue to digitize and streamline documents in order to handle information more efficiently. As a result, we believe that as digitization and streamlining progress, the amount of management work will decrease, which will be reflected in the sales price and make our customers happy.

Part-time employees will be required to perform simple input/output and file management on a computer.

As stated in the "Sales/Measurements" section above, uniforms are not sold as a one-off, but as products that are meant to be worn for a long time.

When we apply these services, uniform maintenance includes sewing such as hemming and shortening.

We proactively undertake these tasks, and if it is simple sewing, we will do it in-store. By doing so, we can promptly respond to customers who are in trouble and say, "I have an important interview the day after tomorrow, but my pants are torn and I don't know what to do!"

Most of the part-time workers who join our company have no sewing experience. However, after joining the company, I think they enjoy sewing at their own pace.
